Luisteren naar meedenken met Spinoza

birkbeck_u_of_londonVan de conferentie Thinking with Spinoza: Politics, Philosophy and Religion, die vorige week 7 en 8 mei aan The Birkbeck Institute for the Humanities van de Universiteit van Londen, werd gehouden (en dat hier eerder op dit weblog werd gemeld) zijn audio-opnamen (podcasts) van de lezingen te beluisteren of te downloaden.

Deze conferentie had tevens ten doel een push te geven aan het Spinoza Research Network. De Engelse/Schotse wereld had nog geen wetenschappelijke Spinozavereniging en is bezig met de totstandbrenging ervan. In dat verband werd tevens de eerste conferentie van dit nieuwe netwerk aangekondigd:

This conference focuses on uses of Spinoza in the sciences and social sciences, considering (for example) physical bodies, individuation, epistemology, materialism, ecology, philosophy of mind, and philosophy of nature, as well as Spinoza's thinking about bodies of scientific knowledge, law, ethics, and politics.
