Dirk Vekemans en zijn Spinoza-gedicht

Weer eens speurend naar Spinoza op het wereldwijde web leerde ik een Belgische kunstenaar kennen: Dirk Vekemans. Wie op zijn naam googelt komt behoorlijk veel tegen.

Hier zijn bio op een van zijn websites. Daar zijn onder 'publicaties' ook zijn andere websites te vinden, want hij is zeer veelzijdig en multimediaal bezig. De foto komt van zijn blogspot. Zie ook zijn andere blog Neue Kathedrale des erotischen Elends.
Ik kwam daar allemaal vanwege zijn duistere, maar intrigerende  gedicht Spinoza flowing through all eight pieces dat ik ineens op mijn pad tegenkwam en hier overneem.

'terpsitone’: door het gehele lichamen te bedienen muziekinstallatie van de Russische uitvinder L.S. Termen.
‘manuaal’: wordt hier voornamelijk in de verouderde betekenis van ‘handleiding’ gebruikt
‘natureren’: verwijst naar het bekende spinozistische onderscheid tussen de natura naturans en de natura naturata

... Bijna niet aan te zien wegens de schrijnend cognitieve dissonantie van tenhemelschrijende foto's samen met schitterende polyfone zangstemmen.
Op 15 januari 2009 zette Dirk Vekemans deze video op YouTube. Hij maakte een indringende aanklacht door foto's van Michael Prysner ["atrocities by Israel, land of the chosen people"] te monteren bij een door Concerto Vocale olv René Jacobs gezongen deel uit de Vespro della Beata Vergine van Claudio Monteverdi.
